Webflow just like Figma autosaves your work. It runs smoothly even with a slower internet connection. Whenever you lose the internet connection, it will save all the progress once you get back online.
However, make sure you don't refresh the page if it hasn't saved the latest changes. Otherwise, all work will be lost. And we all know how much that sucks.
When you lose the internet connection, the save icon will change to a red internet connection icon, letting you know that your website can't be saved at that time:
No internet connection. Can't save. When your work is saved it will show this:
Work is saved. When Webflow is in the process of saving, you will see this:
Saving in progress.Beware of this sign. In rare cases, when there's no internet connection, it might get stuck on this and never change to the red internet connection icon, failing to tell you that you've lost the connection.
You can force the save by pressing CTRL + S (CMD + S on Mac). Do that if it's stuck on saving icon. It will either save or change to the red icon if there's no connection and you will know what's going on.
